LinkBuilder FMS II is a stackable hub that is ideal for environments where expansion, flexibility, resilience, and "need to know" security are important. As part of 3Com's SuperStack architecture, this hub can be stacked with other network devices, including up to seven additional LinkBuilder FMS II hubs that yield a total of up to 208 Ethernet ports per stack. LinkBuilder FMS II offers full media connectivity, built-in resilient links, a data security option, and comprehensive RMON (Remote Monitoring) based management. In addition to its optional Management Module, the hub can accommodate a Bridge MicroModule for local bridging or a Bridge Management Module for man-aged bridging.
