An intuitive interface lets the user easily access any feature, with programmable and fixed keys for one-touch retrieval. Extending the phone to headsets and expansion modules lets the user configure to their specific requirements.

Permanently labeled buttons on the Avaya 9508 phone include speaker, headset, mute, volume, menu, phone, history, contacts and message. There are also eight administrable buttons and four context-sensitive soft keys. For hands-free telephony, the two-way speakerphone can produce crystal-clear sound.
