United States of America Shipping

Orders over $200 qualify for Free Super-Saver Shipping and are shipped at our discretion via the lowest cost method. We use FedEx, UPS, and US Postal Service as shipping carriers. We cannot ship within the USA by billing directly to your shipper account number or by using a customer provided shipping label. All shipping charges must be pre-paid at checkout.

International / Foreign Shipping

Orders which are shipped internationally have a mandatory 2-5 business day security holding period between payment being received and shipment processing. This security policy is to allow funds to fully clear our bank account. International transport costs can be charged directly to your FedEx account number. We cannot ship internationally using your DHL, TNT, or UPS account number. We are able to ship internationally using customer provided labels from any shipping carrier.

Expedited and Rush Shipping

HardwareJet.com can usually provide expedited (1 or 2 day shipping), however there is an additional rush fee per unique item in addition to the product cost and expedited carrier shipping charges. The BlackDiamond 6800 chassis series provide world class Ethernet switching. With the flexibility to act as an aggregation point for a large number of edge switches and its carrier class reliability and security features, the BlackDiamond has been deployed with NEBS level 3 compliance in both large enterprise and carrier networks. Additionally the BlackDiamond 6800 series has an extensive offering of interfaces, so your investments in SONET, ATM, or other legacy technologies are fully protected. And with 3 sizes of BlackDiamond chassis, a wide range of needs can be met from the edge to the core, with all three chassis delivering cutting-edge performance, reliability, and scalability.

The Management Switch Fabric Module 64i (MSM64i) is responsible for upper-layer protocol processing and switch management functions in the BlackDiamond chassis. The MSM64i can store two ExtremeWare software images (version 6.0 or later) and two switch configurations.

Installation of multiple MSM64i's in a BlackDiamond system provides control and switch fabric redundancy for the BlackDiamond switch. The BlackDiamond 6804 and 6808 can support up to 2 MSM64i modules, while a BlackDiamond 6816 supports up to 4 MSM64i modules.

The MSM64i is hot-swappable and interchangeable between all BlackDiamond series switches.
