Digium TE122

The Digium TE122 is a single span, selectable T1 (24-channel), E1 (32-channel), or J1 (24-channel) card that Digium's VoiceBus technology to ensure a standard bus-mastering PCI interface, delivering maximum system compatibility.

When you use TE122 in combination with Asterisk, you can take advantage of a wide range of PBX and IVR services on the network or handset. Such features include Voicemail, Call Conferencing, Three-way Calling, and VoIP Gateways. The TE122 can be combined with the VPMADT32 echo cancellation module, which will deliver 128ms of echo cancellation across 30 channels in E1 mode or 24 channels in T1 mode.

The Digium TE122 supports both voice and data modes on a single span, for example supporting 12 channels for voice and 12 for data, respectively handled by the Asterisk PBX and an underlying Linux operating system, which eliminates the need for an external router. The TE122 works in 3.3V and 5V PCI slots and will automatically detect the slot's voltage.

The Digium TE122 can support industry standard telephony and data protocols, such as the RBS and Primary Rate ISDN (PRI) protocol families for voice and PPP, Cisco HDLC, and Frame Relay data modes. The board can drive both line-side and trunk-side interfaces, including call features.
