StarTech POEINJ100 10/100 Power Over Ethernet Injector 48V 30W

The POEINJ100 10/100 Mbps PoE Power over Ethernet Injector with 48V Output converts standard 90-260V/AC power into low-voltage DC power that can run over existing Cat5 (or better) network cable to power IEEE 802.3at compliant network accessories.

The Power over Ethernet injector device also features PoE awareness, to verify whether the device receiving power is IEEE 802.3at compliant. If the device is not compliant, only data will be sent through the LAN cable, protecting your device from damage.

By adding the POEINJ100 to your existing network setup, installing devices such as Wireless Access Points(WAPs) and IP cameras can be easily accomplished where electrical wall outlets may not be available, without the hassle or expense of running new electrical wiring.
