With models ranging from 4 to 40 ports (this unit at auction has 20 ports), the MAXserver Series offers multi protocol support, easy-to-use management options, extensive security features, accounting and remote access capabilities. Software can be loaded from a host network or the unit can self-load using the flash memory card. All MAXservers can also act as a network load server for other NBase-Xyplex access servers on the network.

Terminal access servers with 20 ports, and port speeds up to 115.2 kbps; AC power. Support Novell IPX, TCP/IP, LAT, PPP, SLIP, and CSLIP with source and destination filters. Extensive network security features including support for Kerberos, SecurID, RADIUS. Expandable memory via industry standard SIMM. SNMP MIB I, MIB II, Telnet, and CP; setup options include GUI (FocalPoint for Access Servers) and command line. Because of its high-performance processor, the MAXserverï¿½s serial ports can reach a top speed of 115 2 kbps. This makes ideal for remote access and business automation applications where speed of connections is essential.
