The power injector for Cisco Aironet 1250 Series Access Points (AIR-PWRINJ4) contains an integrated power supply that converts 100 to 240 volts AC into 56 volts DC and then injects this power onto the Category 5 Ethernet cable to power the access point. Cisco inline-powered WLAN devices and their usage requirements with a Cisco inline-powered switch, mid-span device, or injector-powered solution.With the security and confidence of Cisco, this power injector provides you interoperability with all 802.11 enterprise WLAN network components. You can also reduce your need for the running of cables when you combine the Cisco Aironet 1250 access point with a Cisco Aironet power injector. This Cisco Aironet power injector provides power to the AIR-PWRINJ4 access point by utilizing the unused wire pairs of a Category 5 Ethernet cable, reducing the need to run power cables and optimizing energy usage.
