The Aironet 342 Bridge allows the connections of two or more remote Ethernet LAN's into a single virtual LAN. Workstations on each of the remote LAN's may communicate with each other as though they were on the same physical LAN. The Aironet 340 Series Bridge can also function as a Radio Access Point and provide transparent, wireless data communications between the wired LAN (and/or within the Radio Network) and fixed, portable or mobile devices equipped with a wireles adapter employing the same modulation.
