The Cisco wired router is a two-port networking device that offers cost saving networking solution for businesses. The Cisco 2621 provides an integrated networking environment and increases network range to grant remote sites VLAN and Fast Ethernet access. The wired router is equipped with two 10/100 MBps RJ-45 ports with autosensing functionality. The Cisco wired router comes with a network module slot, a built in Advanced Integration Module (AIM) port and two slots for WAN Interface Cards (WIC). The Cisco 2621 provides flexible WAN connectivity and security through support for redundant cards from the Cisco 1600, 2600, and 3600 series along with the Cisco1720 router. The wired router also is equipped with ISDN BRI, an integrated CSU/DSU unit and serial ports providing multiple choices for WAN connections.
