Add 8 RS-232 serial ports to your computer through a single low profile PCI Express slot. The PEX8S1052 8 Port Low Profile PCI Express RS232 Serial Adapter Card w/ 161050 UART lets you add 8 RS-232 serial ports to your computer through a single low profile PCI Express slot.

Supporting data rates up to 460.8 Kbps, the PCI express serial port card offers a high performance 16C1050 UART and a large 256-Byte transit/receive FIFO buffer that work together to provide high-speed serial communication while reducing the overall load on the system CPU.

Suitable for most standard computer chassis, the 8 port serial card offers a low profile/half-height design and includes an optional full-height bracket. The included break-out cable uses a single connector on the card to deliver 8 ports, avoiding crowded connections that can occur with fixed/static ports.
