The Cisco Catalyst 4224 Access Gateway switch extends data, voice, and video to the small branch office deploying IP Telephony in an unprecedented fashion. The Catalyst 4224 shares a modular Voice Interface Card (VIC), and WAN Interface Card (WIC) with the Cisco 1600, 1700, 2600, and 3600 series platforms, protecting customer investment, streamlining operations costs associated with sparing of parts, and simplifying training. A high-performance MPC 8260 processor provides all the processing power required for delivering voice, streaming video, and data to the branch office.
