The SmartSwitch 2200 is a high-performance 10/100 Fast Ethernet switch that provides 24 10/100 Fast Ethernet ports via RJ45 interfaces and one VHSIM slot. It is ideal for workgroup environments requiring up to 24 ports of 10/100 switching as well as integrated connectivity to high-speed backbone technologies such as Gigabit Ethernet or ATM. The switch provides the ability to implement a high-density 10/100 workgroup solution with a feature set that is characteristic of a data center switch. Built-in features include full RMON, port trunking, port mirroring and redundant power. In addition to high density and advanced features, the SmartSwitch 2200 Fast Ethernet switch provides the flexibility of a high-speed uplink for either local servers or for a connection to a high-speed backbone using an optional VHSIM.
