The Matrix N3 is a modular 3-slot chassis; supports hot-swappable power supplies and a single fan tray. With two chassis options, the Matrix N-Series can be deployed based on the specific network density, capacity and performance requirements to meet a wide range of network configurations. The Matrix N-Series was engineered to provide for high availability through its distributed passive backplane. The N-Series backplane is a point-to-point matrix design with fully meshed interswitch links that provide increased scalability and performance. The interswitch links can support 20 Gbps to 80 Gbps of switching capacity per link.
