What's more, it fails over in less than half the time of its closest competitor and also enables hitless upgrades. The MSM-3 runs at twice the clock speed (480 MHz) of the second generation MSM64i. Its 512 Mb of memory and 10,000 access control lists (ACLs) also represent a twofold improvement over its predecessor. And by implementing Cross-Link Module Aggregation (CMLA), it raises the bar for network resiliency even higher.
