The Sangoma A200D is a modular FXO/FXS PCI card that comes with a hardware echo cancellation module. Sangoma A200D cards deliver error-free faxing as well as click-free audio on analog–digital links. It can be scaled from 2 to 24 ports and requires FXO and/or FXO modules and additional Remora boards and a backplane can be added for scalability.

The A200D uses your server's PCI slot and can be expanded by using Sangoma REMORA expansion cards, as well as Sangoma FXO and Sangoma FXS modules. The Sangoma A200D card will only use a single PCI slot, even when it's expanded to ensure synchronous clocking for all channels.

The Sangoma A200D helps deliver superior audio quality and is a 2U form-factor card.

The A200D and Remora system architecture is shared with Sangoma's A101, A104, and A108 cards, to ensure common 3.3V or 5V high performance, universal PCI compatibility, and upgradable firmware to allow you to take advantage of new updates and enhancements as soon as they become available.

Sangoma A200D Fax Capabilities:
The Sangoma A200D eliminates the need for a dedicated analog line for fax communications. Sangoma cards will use a T1/E1 pass through to eliminate clock slips, buffer overruns or transmit underruns that can cause missed lines, blank sheets and missed pages while faxing.

No CPU Load

The A200 and Remora™ cards incorporate four, 4-pin RJ11 narrow jacks, such as used in telephone handsets. Each Sangoma A200 Card is shipped with four 2m cables terminating in a narrow RJ11/4 plug at one end and a telephone-standard RJ11/6 plug at the other.

For those who need to hard wire the A200 system, you can purchase a kit of 12 RJ11/4 plugs and a crimping tool, sold separately.

Fax Capibilites
With Sangoma, there is no need for a separate analog line to run your fax machine.

Using T1/E1 passthrough with Sangoma analog cards, there are no clock slips, buffer overruns, or transmit underruns that cause missed lines, blank sheets, and missed pages when faxing.

Sangoma A200 and A400 cards synchronize perfectly with digital T1/E1 cards and the PSTN atomic clock for error-free fax and modem passthrough and superior voice quality over T1 and E1 lines.* (*Hardware echo cancellation option required.)
