The OfficeConnect series is a group of hubs that have been optimized and designed for small Ethernet workgroups. The OfficeConnect hub 8/TPO is an entry level model that provides the greatest economy for those who want simple yet powerful networking.

This hub has eight 10Base-T RJ-45 twisted-pair ports and a MDI/MDIX switch to allow connection of either a workstation or another Ethernet hub -- up to a maximum of 4 hubs in series. Cascading the hubs in this way requires the use of one of the RJ-45 ports, but enables expansion and the addition of network functions such as print and fax services. The hubs in the OfficeConnect line are able to physically interlock using the 'clippable' feature, which allows you to stack the hubs 4 high. Stacking clips are included.

The OfficeConnect hubs support easy Plug-and-Play installation, and your network can be up and running in a few minutes. The diagnostic LEDs indicate packet receipt, packet collision, and port status to give you a quick viewable status of your network. There is also a unique Alert LED that signals excessive network use that helps with troubleshooting.

These hubs are fully compatible with NetWare, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows XP, and other leading network operating systems.
