The BayStack 310-24T Switch is designed to improve network performance and prepare networks for future bandwidth needs by segmenting the network into smaller domains, and by providing affordable dedicated bandwidth to power-user desktops and high-utilization servers.

The BayStack 310-24T Switch features 24 switched 10BASE-T ports, one autosensing 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX port, plus two slots for additional autosensing 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX or 100BASE-FX ports, supporting up to three high-bandwidth 100 Mbps connections to key users, switches, servers, or uplinks to the network center. The BayStack 310-24T has many embedded enterprise-class software features that may be implemented at any time, including VLANs, VLAN Trunking, MultiLink Trunking, and MAC-based security. These features optimize the performance of your network and are fully interoperable with identical features on other Nortel Networks switches.
