Description

The DS72 network module provides an ethernet and telnet interface to the DS Series and the DS-RPC Series. Remote users can telnet to the DS Series and communicate with any of the RS-232 devices connected to the unit through a single IP address. The DS72 also has a local RS-232 access port allowing local configuration and access as well as remote dial-up access with an external modem.

Along with the standard applications, the DS72 has new and helpful user functions. With optional SNMP connectivity, a user at an SNMP management station can remotely monitor the activity and parameters of network devices, such as the RMS current monitoring feature of our RPC units.
