(You need to have a separate broadband modem). Does 802.11g so wireless LAN users can connect at speeds up to 54 Mbps and at distances up to 100 meters (328 feet). (Also does 802.11b connections).

Supporting up to 253 (128 wireless) users. The gateway works with other Wi-Fi compatible equipment.

256-bit WPA and 40/64-bit WEP encryption protect the privacy of 11g and 11b wireless transmissions.
An intuitive web interface and simple setup wizards simplify setup and use.
Multiple gateway security features include TCP state-full packet inspection firewall, hacker pattern detection, URL or keyword filtering, and allow/deny access control lists NAT (Network Address Translation), and DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) enhance privacy and economy.
Virtual server capability enables incoming access to specified servers handling FTP, web, e-mail, and other traffic.
Supports static and dynamic IP addressing and PPTP / PPPoE (Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol / Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet)
