With advanced hardware features such as Bandwidth Management, flexible LAN interface types, and sophisticated ForeThought Internetworking Software, the ASX-200WG is designed to meet the demanding needs of today's high performance desktops. ForeThought provides unique connection management features such as on-demand switched virtual circuits (SVCs) both UNI and NNI, IP-over-ATM, and LAN Emulation. The ASX-200WG switch is built on FORE's award-winning ATM technology. Analysts and editors alike have recognized the ForeRunner family of switches as "the best in the industry". And ForeRunner switches have been selected by more network managers than all other ATM switches combined. When combined with the ForeRunner family of ATM network adapters, LAN access switches, and backbone switches, FORE's workgroup switch provides the most complete ATM LAN solution.
