The unit converts 10/100Mbps Ethernet signals on a standard RJ45 jack to 100Base-FX optical signals on an SC or SM connector, supporting both transmit and receive wavelengths of 1550nm and 1300nm respectively. With a maximum link distance of 20km, this media converter is ideal for extending LANs across campus, industrial sites or data centre interconnects where fiber is required.
