The Polycom 331 is a two line SIP VoIP phone, compatible with almost all SIP VoIP phone system platforms and hosted VoIP providers. The SoundPoint IP 331 phone has dual switched 10/100 Ethernet ports to make it an economical and ideal solution for business and home users alike. The Polycom 331 is especially popular in call centers that use a phone along with a phone system client that's running on the PC. The integrated 10/100 Ethernet switch is also PoE ready so allowing the phone to be powered via the network using PoE thus eliminating the need for an AC adapter.

Another popular feature of the Polycom 331 is the full duplex speakerphone. This integrated speakerphone uses Polycom's Acoustic Clarity Technology enabling clear, noise-free, and echo-free conversations.

The Polycom 331 supports traditional business phone features such as call hold, park, pick-up, transfer, and three-way local conferencing. The Polycom 331 also supports more advanced telephony features including: shared call/bridged line appearance, support of XHTML applications, and distinctive call treatment.

The SoundPoint 331 has a standard base stand which can be reversed to become a wall mount, eliminating the need for a separate accessory.
