The RealPresence Group 500 boasts a new user interface that doesn't require any training, even for first-time users. SmartPairing Technology* helps with adoption by allowing users to start and control video calls with their own Apple iPad. Increased adoption of the Polycom RealPresence Group 500 helps your organization cut expenses once teams prefer the system to travelling for meetings. The HD resolution will deliver more clear, realistic interactions to make business communications more enjoyable.
The Group 500 can receive up to 1080p60 video and content with additional licensing, which allows for sharing of videos, animations and other types of content requiring high resolution and natural movement. When utilizing both displays, users are able to see people and content in full motion HD at the same time, which will help make your collaboration more enjoyable and productive.
The Polycom RealPresence Group 500 is small and compact to enable discreet installation and easy transportation, whereever you may need to take it. The RealPresence Group 500 is standards-based and able to make calls to any other standards-based system.
Other interoperability features include native interoperability with the leading UC platforms, and TIP (Telepresence Interoperability Protocol) support that connects the Group 500 to non-standards-based Cisco systems. SVC architecture* provides video communications between existing video systems as well as new SVC systems. Polycom's RealPresence Group 500 delivers the broad interoperability expected from the Polycom RealPresence Group Series.
Polycom delivers a lower TCO by increasing the benefit of H.264 High Profile to 720p60-qualilty video and content sharing to allow for even greater realism while using up to 50% less bandwidth.
