The PEXUSB3S2E2I 4-Port PCI Express USB 3.0 Controller Card adds 2 external USB 3.0 ports and 2 internal USB 3.0 motherboard headers to a PCI Express-enabled computer system, with support for SuperSpeed USB 3.0 data transfer rates up to 5Gbps as well as backward compatibility with devices that rely on previous USB standards (USB 2.0, 1.x).

The adapter card features a built-on SATA power connector, which when connected to the computer power supply supports delivery of up to 900 mA of power to USB 3.0 devices (500mA for USB 2.0 devices). Plus, this PCIe USB 3.0 card is equipped with a full-profile bracket and includes an optional low-profile/half- height bracket, making it a versatile solution that can be installed in either full-sized or small form factor computer cases.
