Avaya's 6120 features the same hardware as the 3641, but features pre-loaded UNIStim software, which is designed to work with Communication Server 1000, Business Communication Manager, and Communication Server 2100. It can be loaded with H.323 or SIP software in the future, which allows users to continue with the same handset if they change to a different platform in the future.

Avaya's 6120 IP Wireless phone is designed for workers in both office and industrial applications. It allows users to make and receive calls while still seeing their caller ID an being able to put calls on hold, call back missed calls and check for messages.

The 6120 addresses the needs of mobile users in many different industries. It allows users to work away from their desk without missing phone calls.
