Description

The D/121B board provides call processing for 12 voice channels in a single PC slot. A unique dual-processor architecture comprising two DSPs (Digital Signal Processors) and a general-purpose microprocessor, processes telephony signaling and performs DTMF (Touch-Tone) and audio/voice signal processing tasks. Multiple D/121B boards can be installed in a single PC chassis enabling system expansion up to 96 ports. The D/121B board incorporates industry-standard PCM Expansion Bus (PEB) architecture for sharing of facsimile, speech recognition and text-to-speech resources among call processing ports.
