The Channelized OC-12 IQ PIC enables high-speed access connections to be scaled rapidly, reliably, and manageably, and delivers enhanced QoS, deeper channelization, improved accounting capabilities, and a rich suite of provisioning and troubleshooting tools.

A single Channelized OC-12 interface can support any combination of OC-3, DS3, T1, and DS0 links, delivering almost unlimited flexibility for link aggregation. This approach reduces the need to deploy costly multiplexing equipment or digital cross-connects, and enables carriers to increase customer bandwidth without altering service-level agreements (SLAs).

The Channelized IQ PICs support the provisioning of highly profitable tiered services, empowering carriers to offer differentiated services based on a wide range of pricing and bundling strategies. When the IQ PICs are deployed in tandem with the Link Services PIC, rich data collection and accounting capabilities are enabled that can support premium service pricing based on QoS and SLA guarantees, time-of-day discounts, corporate internal departmental charge back capabilities, and more.
