Description

1000BASE-SX GBIC Module is an integrated fiber optic transceiver that provides high speed serial links from a port or slot to the network. SX type of latching mechanism is utilized on the GBIC. It has two clips (one on each side of the GBIC) that secure the GBIC in the slot on the Ethernet card the other has a locking handle.
