The DNX Series provides digital cross connect, traffic grooming, concentrations, test access and diagnostic functionality for fixed line, mobile and private networks. There are 4 product lines within the Eastern Research DNX product family: the Eastern Research DNX-4, the Eastern Research DNX-11, the Eastern Research DNX-88 and the Eastern Research PSX-5300. The Eastern Research DNX-4 is a 4 slot chassis. The Eastern Research DNX-11 is a 11 slot chassis. The Eastern Research DNX-88 is a 88 slot nest of DNX-11's. The Eastern Research PSX-5300 is the N+1 capability which can be added to the DNX-11 for full redundancy. Each Eastern Research DNX system can be populated with a variety of modules, providing capabilities for: T1, E1, T3, E3, STS1, OC3/STM1, Data and Voice.
